What is Paint & Crumb

Paint & Crumb is a seasonal evening workshop where you paint and decorate your own mini cake using edible colours — no experience needed, no pressure to get it perfect. Just good food, gentle creativity, and something beautiful to take home at the end of it.

Each session is hosted at Crem Kitchen, beside Raphael's Park in Romford, and takes its inspiration from the season it falls in — the light, the colours and seasonal florals that guide the evening's palette.

How it works

Arrive

Enjoy a welcome drink and take a little time to settle into the space.

Eat

Enjoy a shared selection of small plates from Crem Kitchen, curated for the evening.

Paint

Decorate your own fully prepared mini cake using edible colours, brushes and simple techniques, with gentle guidance throughout.

Take home

Your finished cake is boxed for you to take home, along with a little something sweet from the Marisola Parlour kitchen.

Every cake is fully plant-based and made with gluten-free ingredients — in keeping with Marisola Parlour's approach to inclusive, beautifully made treats. Crem Kitchen isn't exclusively a plant-based or gluten-free restaurant, but for each Paint & Crumb evening we select a small plates menu from their wider offering that aligns with the cakes.

Who it's for

Complete beginners, friends looking for a creative evening out, solo guests, or anyone who enjoys good food, seasonal inspiration and trying something a little different.

No previous cake decorating or painting experience is required.
