Why We Love Pop-Ups — And Why You Will Too
Pop-ups and markets are at the heart of what Marisola Parlour is all about. They give us the chance to connect with our community face-to-face, introduce new customers to allergen-friendly baking, and bring our treats to the people who need them most — without the barrier of a permanent shop.
For so many people managing food allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences, finding genuinely safe and genuinely delicious baked goods is a real challenge. We're here to change that, one market stall at a time.
- Community Connection: We love meeting our customers in person, building relationships with fellow local businesses, and contributing to a more inclusive food scene across London and Essex.
- Real-Time Feedback: Chatting to you face-to-face helps us develop our menu. Whether it's our Bundt cakes, fruit tarts, cupcakes, or brownies — your honest thoughts shape what we bake next.
- Debut of New Creations: Our pop-ups are often where new flavours and seasonal specials make their first appearance. We use natural superfood powders and unrefined sugars to create colours and flavours that are as wholesome as they are exciting.
- Exclusive Event Offers: We regularly offer market-only deals, giveaways, and early access to new products. If you love a treat and a bargain, come find us.

Our Allergen-Friendly, Plant-Based Approach
Everything we bake at Marisola Parlour is thoughtfully crafted to be as inclusive as possible. We started this bakery because we know first-hand how difficult it can be to find safe, delicious treats when you're navigating food allergies or dietary choices — and we wanted to change that.
- Vegan & Plant-Based: No animal products — ever. We use plant-based milks, flax eggs, and other thoughtful alternatives that create beautifully textured bakes without compromise.
- Gluten-Free: Our recipes are entirely wheat-free, and we source our gluten-free flours carefully to ensure consistent, enjoyable results for those with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity.
- Nut-Free: We do not use nuts in our baking, making our treats safer for customers managing nut allergies. All products are clearly labelled with full ingredient and allergen information.
- Natural Sweeteners: We favour unrefined sugars like coconut sugar for a gentler, more nuanced sweetness.
- Superfood Colours: Our vibrant frostings and glazes get their colour from natural superfood powders — think beetroot, spirulina, and turmeric — rather than synthetic dyes.
The result? Bakes that look stunning, taste indulgent, and happen to be suitable for a wide range of dietary needs. No compromise, just great food for everyone.

Our Commitment to Quality & Sustainability
We're frequently asked about where our ingredients come from — and we love that question! Here's what you can always count on:
- Locally Sourced Where Possible: We support local suppliers, keeping our carbon footprint lower and our seasonal menu relevant and fresh.
- Organic Produce: From our cocoa powder to our beetroot, we choose organic ingredients wherever feasible.
- Eco-Conscious Packaging: We use biodegradable or recyclable packaging, and our small-batch baking model means minimal waste. Every choice we make is with the planet in mind as well as your plate.
When you buy from Marisola Parlour, you're not just treating yourself — you're supporting a small business that genuinely cares about people and the planet.
