Why We Love Pop-Ups (and Why You Will Too)

Pop-up events and markets are more than
just a place to sell baked goods—they’re a chance for us to meet you in person, hear your feedback, and show you first-hand what makes our plant-based bakery special. For many people with dietary sensitivities or specific lifestyle choices—like being vegan—finding reliable, trustworthy treats can be a challenge. By popping up in your neighbourhood, we bring our allergen-friendly options directly to you, so you can sample our offerings and learn more about our process.
Community Connection: We love forging relationships with local residents, fellow small businesses, and event organisers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support each other and create a more inclusive food scene.
Direct Feedback: Talking face-to-face with you helps us refine our menu. We want to know what you think of our Bundt cakes, fruit tarts, cupcakes, and cookies—your feedback shapes the future of our bakery.
Showcasing New Creations: Pop-ups often serve as a testing ground for new flavours and designs. We occasionally experiment with different superfood powders or unrefined sugars like coconut sugar to create colourful frostings and unique tastes without artificial enhancers.
Special Offers: Many of our event appearances feature exclusive discounts, giveaways, or early-bird access to new menu items. If you love a good deal and enjoy trying new things, our pop-ups are a perfect opportunity.
Whether you’re a long-time fan of allergen-friendly baking or just curious about how vegan, gluten-free treats can taste, our pop-ups offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere to explore.

Our Allergen-Friendly and Plant-Based Philosophy
One of the main reasons our bakery resonates with so many people is our unwavering commitment to allergen-friendly, plant-based baking. Here’s a closer look at how we make it happen:
Vegan and Plant-Based: We exclude all animal-derived ingredients, from eggs to dairy, favouring plant-based options like flax seeds and alternative milks. This approach suits vegans and anyone looking to reduce their consumption of animal products.
Gluten-Free: We recognise how difficult it can be for those with gluten sensitivities or coeliac disease to locate delicious baked goods. Our recipes are free from wheat, and we source our gluten-free flours carefully to guarantee a consistent, enjoyable texture in every product.
Nut-Free: Many customers or their families have nut allergies, so we take special care to avoid cross-contamination and carefully label all items with full ingredients and allergen information. We don’t include nuts in our baking.
Natural Sweeteners: We prefer unrefined sugars—like coconut sugar—to enhance flavours without overwhelming sweetness.
Superfood Powders: Rather than relying on synthetic food dyes, we use superfood powders such as beetroot, spirulina, or turmeric to achieve vibrant colours. These also add subtle, distinctive notes to our flavour profiles.
We believe these choices create baked goods that stand on their own merits—decadent, tasty, and a joy to share—while also reflecting our ethos of inclusivity and health-conscious indulgence.
Our Commitment to Quality Ingredients

Many visitors at our pop-ups ask about our ingredient quality and sourcing. Here’s what you can count on:
Locally Sourced When Possible: We strive to support local suppliers. This keeps our carbon footprint lower and our menu seasonally relevant.
Organic Produce: Whenever feasible, we select organic products—ranging from cocoa powder for our brownies to beetroot for our frostings.
Eco-Conscious Practices: In line with the spirit of events like Langton’s Eco Fayre, we prioritise packaging that is biodegradable or recyclable. By offering small-batch production, we also minimise food waste.
When you purchase from us, you’re not just getting a sweet treat—you’re also supporting a business that genuinely cares about environmental and community well-being.
