Here we give quick answers to the most common queries.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

Our brownies, treats and warm drinks are available for postal delivery across main land UK. In addition we deliver to selected postcodes in and around Romford. Collection is also available. If you’re outside our standard delivery area, please contact us directly—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. ​We currently deliver to the following postcodes. IG1, IG2, IG3, IG4, IG5, IG6, IG7, IG11 RM1, RM2, RM3, RM4, RM5, RM6, RM7, RM8, RM9, RM10, RM11, RM12 ​ If you would like delivery outside of these postcodes, please still do get in contact and we will try our best to make this happen!  ​

WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?

For local orders, we deliver on set days each week. Please specify your preferred delivery date at checkout, and we will confirm availability. For postal orders, we aim to dispatch within 3-5 working days. If your order includes bespoke items, processing times may be longer.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

Free delivery is available for all orders over £30. The standard fee of £2.50 is added to all other orders. Please see above for our delivery radius of bespoke cakes. 

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO PROCESS?

  • Online store orders: Dispatch is typically within 3-5 working days.

  • Bespoke cakes: Please allow up to two weeks for custom designs. Contact us for urgent requests, and we’ll do our best to assist.

CAN I ALTER MY ORDER AFTER IT'S BEEN PLACED?

If you need to make changes, such as updating your delivery address, email us at contact@marisolaparlour.com with your order number as soon as possible. Changes can only be made if your order hasn’t already been processed.

CAN I SEND SOMEONE A GIFT?

Absolutely! Many of our customers send gifts through us. You can include a personal message at checkout, and we’ll ensure your treats are beautifully packaged. Please ensure someone will be available to receive the delivery.

DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL SHOP?

We currently operate from a small kitchen with no shop front, but we regularly attend local pop-ups and markets. Check our social media (Instagram, Facebook) for the latest updates on where you can find us. 

CAN I BUY PRODUCTS FOR SAME DAY COLLECTION?

Our products are made to order, so we don’t typically offer same-day collection. However, for urgent requests, please get in touch, and we’ll see what’s possible.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

  • Cakes and cupcakes: Best enjoyed within 2-3 days.

  • Hot drink blends: Store in a cool, dry place and enjoy within 6 months and before the use by date.

  • Tarts and other desserts: Consume within 24-48 hours for the best taste.

CAN YOUR PRODUCTS BE FROZEN?

Yes, most of our cakes and desserts can be frozen for up to 3 months. We recommend wrapping them in airtight packaging before freezing. Defrost at room temperature for the best results.

DO YOU OFFER ALLERGEN-FREE OPTIONS?

All of our products are made without wheat, eggs, dairy, or nuts, and all our products are made with gluten-free ingredients. We avoid the top 14 allergens wherever possible. In addition, all our recipes are 100% plant-based, making them suitable for varied dietary needs. However, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergen traces due to supply chain manufacturing methods. We adhere to strict protocols and the Food Standards Agency's Safer Food, Better Business guidelines to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Our dedication to safety and quality reflects our promise to deliver delicious, inclusive treats that everyone can enjoy with confidence.

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

HOW MANY SERVINGS DOES EACH CAKE GIVE? 

4" cake: 6 - 8 servings

6" cake: 10 - 15 servings

7" cake: 15 - 25 servings

Our cake recipes are plant-based, vegan (no dairy, eggless) contain no nuts and use gluten free flour. They do contain SOYA ingredients.

However, please be aware that traces may be found as cakes are produced in a kitchen that handles these ingredients.
